Amanda is a 5x Australian Sport Champion, and World Champion, CEO, University Lecturer, sports commentator and newspaper columnist turned Inspirational Speaker and Wellness Expert.
Whatever you do, never say never to this inspirational woman, born with 5% sight in her left eye, Amanda never let negative predictions ‘blind side’ her. Amanda has 38 years of experience working in education, sport, speaking journalism and health and fitness industries. She has created Blind Sided, Ageless Leadership and The Power to Choose and thrives on teaching people to change the way they look, feel and function.




She knows the highs being the founder of Australian most awarded Fitness Business, Telstra Business Women of the Year and winning National Championships in 2 sports.
Teased as a child for being ‘cross eyed’ and told by her Ophthalmologist she couldn't play ball sports, Amanda played basketball in the Women’s National League. Told she would have difficulties learning to read and write Amanda graduated from University with an Honours Degree.
Working with corporates, educators and athletes, Amanda understands the resilience it takes to ‘win ‘in life and can tailor her story and message to each individual brief.
Using her gifts of teaching, serial optimism and positivity, Amanda know what it takes to overcome adversity and rise above the limiting beliefs of others, to inspire people to change the way they look, feel and function.
Known for her never say die attitude and relentless obsession for a healthy and better life, Amanda has worked with some of Australia’s leading companies including Australian Customs, Department of Justice, Department of Primary Industry and Water, Nyrstar, Parliament House, Tasmanian Audit Office, Tasmanian Fire Service, RACT, Woolworths & Fiducian Financial Services.
Amanda appeared as an expert on ABC radio together with writing a weekly newspaper column.
